Project Summary

Gatsby is a luxury apparel brand for fans of fine Italian clothing who are unsatisfied with modern golf wear. Their focus on timeless style and exceptional quality informed our approach to the branding. We created an elegant yet understated visual identity that was applied to a vast suite of print pieces and garment touchpoints, considering everything to the finest detail for a truly distinguished customer experience.

The brand’s refined details carry through to apparel interiors, where the garment tags on a Houndstooth Patch Pocket Jacket reinforce a sense of classic luxury.

Signature

Gatsby’s brand mark – its signature G – is deployed in subtle spots like the flag label on its custom bamboo dustbag. The brand’s Italian red is reserved specifically for the mark.

Brand Language

Gatsby’s literary-inspired, Thucydides-authored brand tagline translates as The secret to happiness is liberty. By reminding wearers of the freedom that well-made clothes brought to their full days, we tapped into a sense of gentlemanly luxury.
