Project Summary

A brand that thrives both at home and out and about, Daphne Wilde’s new housedresses feature versatile silhouettes brought to life with lush fabrics. Inspired by a love of comfort that doesn’t sacrifice style, the brand emphasizes a sophisticated playfulness.

The Wordmark & Logo

With a wordmark inspired by Jean-Luc Godard’s sharp, modern style, we created a complementary logo that took cues from angular cubism. The brand’s initials are rearranged to form a grinning portrait.  

Brand Language

Taglines reflect the feeling of being at home – physically and emotionally – and highlight the flexible functionality of a well-designed housedress. In re-introducing the concept of a housedress to consumers, it was important to reassure wearers that Daphne Wilde’s dresses are an everyday essential meant to be worn anytime.

Subtle Details

Printed collateral features diecut envelopes that follow the forms of the brand mark, while gold detailing lends a sense of refinement on hang tags, notecards and brand collateral.

Brand Lookbook

To announce the brand’s launch collection, an oversized, tabloid-style lookbook was created. An analog introduction to the ecommerce brand aligned with Daphne Wilde’s modernized take on sophisticated nostalgia.
